Overall Scope: The Marketing and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing the implementation of field marketing programs about program communication; creative materials development, review and routing; program results tracking and coordination with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the Marketing and Social Media Coordinator will maintain the company's social media presence. Their job duties are to research marketing trends, post content on each relevant platform, and encourage audience engagement.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Create, coordinate and communicate one-sheets for all programs including program descriptions, objectives, communication strategy and measurement.
  • Prepare, maintain and execute a system for all creative materials requests. Ensure requests are complete and accurate prior to submission to the agency and/or art director.
  • Maintain and report on budget tracking, complete Purchase Order review with invoices for accuracy and then route for approval and processing.
  • Serve as the initial point person to screen, review, evaluate and route incoming promotion, advertising and donation requests.
  • Create and update all marketing program calendars, along with critical date and delivery information.
  • Create and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly dashboard reports.
  • Research audience preferences and discover current and new trends.
  • Design posts to sustain readers' curiosity and create engagement around existing and new products.
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
  • Facilitation and report generation for online conversations with customers and responding to queries.
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Coordinator and/or business-related field
  • Direct marketing or partnership marketing experience highly preferred.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Intermediate analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing work methods
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • BS degree in Marketing, New media or relevant field
